Flying to Leon

To get to the City of Guanajuato (which is also the capital of the State) you need to fly to Leon's (BJX) International Airport that is 20 mins. away from our Bed & Breakfast.

Once you arrive to Leon's airport and have cleared Customs & Immigration you will exit the arrival gate.

Just before you exit the building entirely, you will see to your left a tiny booth selling taxi tickets. Buy one to downtown Guanajuato, it should be about $36 U.S. Dollars.

They will point you outside with a number. You will be looking for the cab that has that number. They should help you with your luggage too.

When you meet the driver ask him to take you to Guanajuato to "Parque Embajadoras" (Embajadoras Park), which is on the way to "Presa de la Olla" (Small Lake-Dam).

Our address is San Sebastian #88 enfrente del Templo de San Sebastian (infront of San Sebastian Temple).

Flying to Guadalajara

The Cheapest way to get to Guanajuato sometimes is to fly to Guadalajara, and from there take the bus.

Here are the directions From Guadalajara’s International Airport:

Take a taxi and ask him to take you to "La Nueva Central Camionera" (The New Bus Station) it should cost you $10.00 U.S. Dollars approx.

Get dropped off at Primera Plus (that is the bus line that goes to Guanajuato). Tickets are about $35.00 U.S. Dollars per person. They have clean bathrooms, lunch bag, movies and leg-rests. The trip takes about 4 hours.

Once in Guanajuato's Bus Station go out and ask for a taxi to take you to: San Sebastian #88, enfrente del Templo de San Sebastian, por el Parque Embajadoras.

Villa Sueño Azul is accross the street from San Sebastian Temple, next to Embajadoras Park. The ride is about 7 to 12 mins., and should cost you $40 pesos.
